Cape Town - West Brom manager Alan Pardew believes his players have been showing positive signs in their performances recently and was pleased with the draw at Everton.

The Baggies held the Toffees to a 1-1 draw at Goodison Park on Saturday when Oumar Niasse negated Jay Rodriguez's opening strike to ensure the spoils were shared.

Pardew admits his players felt disappointed not to claim three points, but believes they are doing well on the pitch and just need to keep going.

"It wasn’t two points dropped but the feeling in the dressing room is one of disappointment," he said, as quoted by the Birmingham Mail.

"That's a good feeling to have really. Considering all the talent Everton had on that pitch, we restricted them to very few chances.

"I thought we were terrific out of possession. I think you're seeing a team functioning okay really. We've proved that for a while now, six or seven games.

"We were very unlucky at West Ham, one or two of these games we could have had three points. Hopefully, the signs suggest we're looking okay.

"We just need to keep winning our home games and pick up points away from home."
