Oscar's future to be decided soon, Conte

London - Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has confirmed that midfielder Oscar’s future will "be clear in the next days".

Conte’s comments come after reports indicated that the Brazilian is on the verge of joining Chinese Super League (CSL) club Shanghai SIPG on a £60 million deal.

Oscar recently told Globo that his move to China is “90 percent” done. Should the 25-year-old go through with his plan to leave Stamford Bridge, it would be Chelsea’s most expensive sale ever.

Oscar did not feature in Chelsea’s narrow 1-0 win over Sunderland on Wednesday, and when the subject about the midfielder was brought up in the post-match press conference, Conte said: "It will be clear in the next days and... I stop!"

"I always counted on him because I think Oscar is a really good player. But sometimes there are situations it is difficult to face."

In the 11 games he has played in all competitions this season, the Sao Paulo native has failed to score and only has one assist to his name.

Meanwhile Conte remains cautious over Chelsea's title chances as his team may have a significant advantage over other title contenders, their rivals would be encouraged by their recent unconvincing performance at the Stadium of Light on Wednesday.
