Nigerian starlet delighted to learn at Arsenal

Cape Town - Young centre back Tobi Omole reveals he is relishing the opportunity to learn from Gunners defensive duo Laurent Koscielny and Shkodran Mustafi.

The 16-year-old, who was spotted by Arsenal scouts while playing for Thamesmead Town, was impressed by the way the pair dealt with Diego Costa during Arsenal's 3-0 win over Chelsea and is excited to hone his game among such talent.

"The way that Laurent Koscielny and Shkodran Mustafi dealt with him was fantastic," Omole told the Arsenal Matchday Programme.

"They used intelligent aggression and frustrated him out of the game. It's ideal for me to have those guys to learn from.

"I knew a bit about Mustafi before he arrived and always thought he was a good player, but he has settled in so well it looks like he has been with us for years."

Omole has represented Arsenal's youth team at under-14 level.
