Cape Town - Liverpool have been dealt another potential blow with the news of a hamstring injury sustained by midfielder Naby Keita.
The Reds have already lost Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Sadio Mane with injuries picked up while on international duty.
Salah has a thigh strain while Van Dijk reportedly has broken ribs, although he initially picked up the injury while playing for his club before coming through a match with the Netherlands.
And Mane broke a thumb while training with Senegal.
Keita, meanwhile, was carried off the pitch on a team-mate's back at half-time of Guinea's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Rwanda on Tuesday.
James Milner is another influential player that could be side-lined after he was substituted with a hamstring injury in Liverpool's 0-0 draw with Manchester City before the international break.
This leaves the Merseyside club short of first-team players for their Premier League clash with Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
