Cape Town - Manchester
United boss Jose Mourinho has praised the club's supporters, calling
them the most passionate fans he's experienced in his career.
The Portuguese coach has enjoyed success at FC Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, and Real Madrid, but stated that it's at United where he has seen the most passion.
In the renewal brochure for season ticket holders, Mourinho said: "I have to say I've been impressed by your dedication and commitment, as season ticket holders here at United.
"I've managed several clubs and I have never seen such unrivalled passion. The stadium is full every time we play and the support the players receive is special.
"But it's not in our nature to stand still and reflect. We must look forward, work hard, improve, believe and enjoy the journey along the way."
Mourinho claimed his first silverware with the Red Devils on Sunday when they beat Southampton 3-2 at Wembley to clinch the EFL Cup.
United fans showed their unwavering support for their team during a disappointing 4-0 defeat away to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Despite the goals flying in, the away fans were heard outsinging the home crowd.
