Matuidi to decide future amid United interest

Cape Town - Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi insists no decision has been made regarding his future amid reported interest from Manchester United.

The France international has been linked with a move away from Parc des Princes for the past few seasons after helping PSG dominate the domestic scene.

Matuidi featured against Angers in the Coupe de France final on Saturday as Unai Emery's side won the title for a third successive year - his 11th major trophy at the club since joining from Saint-Etienne in 2011.

Speaking after the 1-0 win at Stade de France, the 30-year-old responded to questions about his future with uncertainty as he enters the final 12 months of his contract in the French capital.

"I don't know yet. I am feeling good in Paris. It's hard as you don't know the real position of the club," he said.

"PSG made a proposition to me. They are open to everything when it comes to me. There is no decision taken so far.

"Honestly, I don't want to lie, I don't know yet. I am feeling good in Paris. Playing for the club of your heart is beautiful and Paris is the club of my heart. Don't forget that.

"Even if in the future I should leave, Paris stays the club of my heart. And it would be always like that."
