Cape Town - Anthony Martial says his love for Manchester United means he wants to stay at the club for "long as possible".
The 21-year-old made an immediate impact after signing from Monaco in 2015 with some impressive performances and well-taken goals.
His form steadily declined though as the club went through a difficult period in their recent history.
Martial struggled to shake off the malaise of last season, and this term has rarely featured under Jose Mourinho.
In recent games though, the winger has begun to show glimpses of his true capabilities, and has now contributed seven goals in 25 games across all competitions, having made three consecutive starts.
Speaking ahead of United's Europa League clash with Saint-Etienne at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard where the club take a 3-0 advantage thanks to a hat-trick from Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the France international explained: "I love Manchester, I love the club and I love the fans.
"(The fans) give me a lot of joy and I really enjoy having them backing me.
"I try to be as good as possible to make them happy, to satisfy them, so what I just want is to stay as long as possible at this club."
Martial became the most expensive teenager in history when he joined the Red Devils for £36 million that could potentially rise to £58 million.
United next face St Etienne in the second-leg of the round-of-32 Europa League clash at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard with Mourinho's men holding a healthy 3-0 lead.
Kick off is at 19:00.
