Cape Town - Matteo Darmian appears to be heading for the Manchester United exit in the off-season, with Valencia reportedly at the front of the queue for the full-back.
United are set for a busy off-season as manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to put his own stamp on the squad at Old Trafford and there are expected to be a handful of casualties.
Darmian has been deemed surplus to requirements at United and the club could be set to land £9m for the 29-year-old, with Valencia eager to get a deal over the line for the Italian.
Inter Milan are also thought to be interested in the player, so the Nerazzurri could be sparked into action follow the recent reports of Los Che's bid to land the experienced defender.
However, the 29-year-old Italy international has also been linked with the likes of Juventus and Roma, and they will need to move quickly if they are to challenge Valencia and Inter for his signature.
