Man United bid for Joshua King rejected by Bournemouth

Cape Town - Manchester United have reportedly had a bid rejected on Friday by Bournemouth for Norwegian striker Joshua King as manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to bring in attacking reinforcements.

Solskjaer is known to be keen on bringing in a striker to replace the injured Marcus Rashford and recently confirmed that he was looking for a striker 'who wants to break their nose or toes' to score goals.

King, who is a Man United academy graduate was coached by Solskjaer in the club's reserves is the Cherries top Premier League goalscorer with 45 goals in 151 appearances.

Bournemouth have rejected the bid as they feel the 27-year-old is integral to their relegation fight with the club languishing in the relegation zone in 18th spot in the league table.
