Cape Town - Manchester United have agreed on a deal with Crystal Palace for the transfer of full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
According to reports, the Eagles have already knocked back two bids from Old Trafford for Wan-Bissaka, who is currently at the European Championships with the England Under-21 squad.
United's two bids were far believed to be close to the £50 million but crucially a significant proportion of the offer is reliant on add-ons dependent on clauses being met - and Palace want a larger fee up front.
Meanwhile, the third and final bid that has been accepted amounts to £55 million for the 21-year-old, who is understood to be keen on a move to Old Trafford.
The right-back is rated as boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's top target but if Palace deems United's third offer is unacceptable the Manchester outfit may end their interest.
United are being linked with alternative targets to the youngster, including Napoli's Elseid Hysaj and Norwich's Max Aarons and, if their third bid is knocked back, could opt to turn their focus elsewhere.
