James Maddison has dealt potential suitors Manchester United a blow by saying he is happy at Leicester City.
There have been no official bids for Maddison from the Red Devils despite months of speculation and it now looks more likely that Manchester United’s top target in that position is Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish.
Maddison has fired Leicester to third in the Premier League table this season while Grealish has been Villa’s star performer in their battle against relegation.
And Maddison sounds more than happy at Leicester despite the constant speculation linking him to Manchester United.
"It's been a whirlwind two years and I’ve loved every second of it,” Maddison told LCFC TV.
"I feel right at home at Leicester. I feel like part of the furniture already and I love it here.
"I love the lads, I love the fans, (we’ve got) a great manager, so I’m very, very happy."
