Lukaku: My mind is made up

Cape Town - Everton striker Romelu Lukaku claims he has already decided where he will be playing his football next season amid talk of a return to Chelsea.

The Belgium international is determined to leave Goodison Park during the off-season after another disappointing year for the Toffees, which culminated in the recent sacking of Roberto Martinez as their manager.

Lukaku enjoyed a good campaign personally, scoring 18 goals in the Premier League and 25 in all competitions - helping the Merseysiders to the semi-finals of both the League Cup and the FA Cup.

That form has sparked rumours of a return to Stamford Bridge, where he spent three unsuccessful years before being sold to the Merseysiders for £28m in 2014.

The 23-year-old confirmed there are plenty of clubs interested in securing his signature and that he has made up his mind about his next destination, but is keeping his cards close to his chest for the time being.

"I keep it for me. A lot of clubs are interested, some of which are already very concrete for five years. In my head, I have already made a decision, so we'll see," Lukaku said.

Asked if the Blues were an option, he replied: "We'll see. It's true that the English competition suits me perfectly, but there are plenty of other beautiful clubs."
