Cape Town - Liverpool are being linked with a swoop on Bayer Leverkusen at the end of the season, with midfielder Julian Brandt said to be the target.
The Reds are fully focused on their push for the Premier League title, but that is not stopping the process of signing new players for next season and the Bundesliga looks set to be the recruiting ground.
Borussia Monchengladbach defender Matthias Ginter is known to be a potential summer target as Jurgen Klopp looks for a new centre-half, while RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner is also on the wanted list.
Now a fresh move for Brandt has also been suggested after Klopp missed out on a deal to bring him to Anfield back in the summer of 2017.
The German boss has maintained his interest and reports are rife suggesting a fresh attempt will be made to lure him away in the close season.
If Liverpool were to make a move for both Brandt and Ginter it would cost them in the region of £100 million and another £50 million could be added to that if they made a move for Werner as well.
