Klopp: Liverpool job 'a dream come true'

Cape Town - Manager Jurgen Klopp has spoken about how fortunate he was to land the Liverpool job in 2015, calling it a dream come true.

The German has swiftly made his mark on the Reds since taking over at Anfield a year ago, and has revealed that managing Liverpool is even better than he could have hoped.

He told Liverpool's official website: "My favourite thing is having the opportunity to work for this fantastic club.

"You don’t know how it'll work out, even when you're the most confident person in the world.

"You need real luck in a few moments, and timing is very important. You cannot plan it and say, 'at one point, I would love to train Liverpool FC' because it sounds crazy.

"Having the opportunity is a dream come true. That's the best thing - it's better than I could have imagined."

Under Klopp's guidance, Liverpool have made a promising start to the Premier League season and find themselves only two points off the top of the table, in fourth position.
