Cape Town - Manchester United full-back Matteo Darmian is reportedly the subject of renewed interest from Juventus, with the Old Lady seeking potential replacements for Joao Cancelo.
The Manchester United defender was previously wanted on loan by bosses in Turin, although the two clubs could not agree on a price to make it permanent when the possibility was raised last year.
Juventus, however, remains firm admirers of Darmian and are seeking a cut-price option to Cancelo, who is expected to seal a £50 million switch to Manchester City in the coming days.
United also like the Portugal defender although reports in Italy have insisted City are in the box seat and Juventus officials are in Manchester to finalise the negotiations.
It is claimed the dominant Serie A outfit could also stop off at Old Trafford to resurrect a bid for Darmian, who is surplus to requirements and available for around £15 million.
The Italy international would certainly jump at any chance of making a return to the city, having failed to spark at United since his arrival from Torino four years ago.
