Juve want Guardiola to succeed Allegri

Cape Town - Juventus are being linked with move for Pep Guardiola if Max Allegri leaves the Italian club at the end of the season.

Allegri has been a revelation during his time in charge of the Italian giants, winning four Serie A titles and four Coppa Italia crowns, but there is talk he could be on the lookout for a fresh challenge.

If that is the case then Juve will need another top class coach and there are not many who could fill the boots of the 51-year-old Italian.

Guardiola is one of the few who could, and reports in the Italian press claim they will make an audacious attempt to lure him away from the Etihad Stadium at the of the season.

The reports claim that Guardiola could also be keen on a fresh challenge and Juventus are one of the few clubs that he would be willing to leave Manchester City for.

The Spaniard, who has been with City since 2016, is under contract until 2021, but he left Barcelona after four years and Bayern Munich after three, so may not see it out.
