Cape Town - After calling Frank de Boer the "worst manager in Premier League history", Sport24 looks at Jose Mourinho's most savage remarks on other managers.
On Arsene Wenger: "You know he is a specialist in failure, I'm not. So if he is right and I am afraid to fail, it's because I haven't failed many times. So maybe he is right that I'm not used to failing, but the reality is that he's a specialist (in failure) because eight years without a piece of silverware is failure and if I do that at Chelsea, eight years without a trophy I'll leave London and not come back."
On Arsenal fans: (After chants by Arsenal fans that Chelsea played boring football) "You know boring is ten years without a title, I think that is very boring (laughter). You know, you support a club and for ten years you are waiting, waiting, waiting and for so many years without a Premier League title I think that is very boring. The boring team (Chelsea) is the team with the second highest goals in the league.
On Rafa Benitez: "The lady (Benitez's wife) is a bit confused, with all respect. I'm not laughing. She is confused because her husband went to Chelsea to replace Roberto Di Matteo and he went to Real Madrid and replaced Carlo Ancelotti. The only club where her husband replaced me was at Inter Milan, where in six months he destroyed the best team in Europe at the time. And for her also to think about me and to speak about me, I think the lady needs to occupy her time, and if she takes care of her husband's diet she will have less time to speak about me."
On Pep Guardiola: "When you enjoy what you do, you don't lose your hair, and Guardiola is bald. He doesn't enjoy football."
On Antonio Conte: "What I was trying to say that I behave bad a few times and this moment I control myself better. It doesn't mean my passion is not the same. So wrong question and obviously a strong answer and I don't blame him (Conte). Yes I have made mistakes in the past and yes I will make mistakes in the future. What has never happened to me and will never happen is to be suspended for match-fixing. That never happened to me and it will never happen."
On Gary Neville and Graeme Souness: "Some of the guys with an opinion couldn't resolve their own problems when they were managers. They are giving opinions like they have solutions for everything, but it's not like that. "They are in a position where they can give opinions about everything. Sometimes I read and listen, sometimes I don't. This week I was more focused on enjoying the Champions League and Europa League, and preparing my match than being focused on opinions."
On Frank de Boer: "I read a quote from the worst manager in the history of the Premier League, Frank De Boer - 7 matches, 7 losses, 0 goals - that Marcus (Rashford) would not learn under me. Because for me the most important thing is to win. Maybe with him (De Boer), he would learn how to lose."
