Jesus linked with surprise City exit

Cape Town - Striker Gabriel Jesus has been linked with a move away from Manchester City after seeing his first-team opportunities limited under Pep Guardiola this season.

The Brazil striker will pick up his second Premier League title medal if he and his team-mates win their final game this Sunday at Brighton.

However, there is some chatter in his native Brazil the 22-year-old has been left frustrated at being used as a bit-part player during the all-important run-in.

Top scorer Sergio Aguero continues to be the main man under Guardiola, which has seen Jesus start in less than a quarter or Premier League fixtures this term, despite scoring 19 goals in all competitions.

The talented Samba forward arrived from Palmeiras two seasons ago for £28 million and he would certainly command a much higher figure now if there was to be a surprise parting of the ways.

Barcelona and Real Madrid were beaten to his signature last time around and are said to be monitoring any developments this summer.

Jesus is also aware City are being strongly linked to a £100 million swoop for Benfica's attacking starlet Joao Felix, which might be another reason why the South American, who penned a new deal last year, may be considering all his options.
