Cape Town - Inter Milan have reportedly turned their attention towards alternative transfer targets after dropping their pursuit of Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku.
Just two years after joining the Old Trafford giants, the 26-year-old is keen to move on to pastures new, with Serie A side Inter Milan eager to bring him to the San Siro.
United reportedly received a £54 million bid from Inter last week, which was rejected out of hand as it falls well short of their £75 million valuation.
A former coach of Lukaku's described United's asking price as "absolutely not too much" for a man that has scored 42 goals in 96 matches for the Red Devils.
However, Inter reportedly does not feel the same and Gazzetta dello Sport (via Sky Sports) claims that the Serie A giants are not willing to match United's valuation and will pursue other targets.
Roma's Edin Dzeko is one striker they will reignite their interest in, while Lille's Rafael Leao is another player the Nerazzurri are keen on.
