De Bruyne: Ibrahimovic would be a 'great addition'

Cape Town - Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne believes that the Premier League would benefit if Zlatan Ibrahimovic were to join Manchester United.

Ibrahimovic has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford after he opted to leave Paris Saint-Germain following four successful seasons.

Not only does De Bruyne think that Ibrahimovic will do well under Jose Mourinho, who was recently appointed as United’s new manager, but he also feels as if the Swedish sensation will adapt to life in England relatively quickly.

"I think it will be good for him," De Bruyne, who is currently representing Belgium at Euro 2016, told reporters. "He's lived already in a couple of cities, so I think he will take care of himself.

"I personally like it very much, so I'm happy with the way everything's going over there. That is, for me, very important. He's a great addition, so that's good for the league."

While speculation is rife that the 34-year-old is on the verge of signing a deal with the Red Devils, Ibrahimovic’s agent, Mino Raiola, said that the striker has still yet to make up his mind on where he wants to play next season.
