Cape Town - Hull
City striker Abel Hernandez is said to be in high demand with teams in
the Chinese Super League inquiring to the Premier League club about his
availability.
The Uruguay international's agent Pablo Betancur confirmed that the latest offer has been one of three from China, while two Premier League sides were also vying for his services last month.
Hernandez is out of contract at the end of the season but the Tigers were reportedly reluctant to let go of one of their most clinical forwards - as they look to retain their top-flight status.
"We brought three proposals from China, one higher than the other, to Hull City with whom he has only one year of the contract," he told Tutto Mercato. "They would not sell him.
"For the player from an economic point of view, it would be a great leap in quality. Changchun Yatai wanted Abel strongly.
"But we have so many requests for June, from Everton to West Brom."
