Cape Town - Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has revealed that he will wait to find out the severity of Joshua King's injury before looking for alternatives in the transfer market.
King picked up a hamstring injury during the 2-1 win against Everton on December 30, which ruled him out of the 2-2 draw with Brighton and Hove Albion on Monday.
Meanwhile, winger Ryan Fraser was also sidelined for the clash with the Seagulls due to a hamstring problem. However, Howe will wait before pulling the trigger on any new additions.
"If we're confident we can get these players back quickly then I don't see the need," he told BBC Radio Solent.
"We need to see how serious these injuries are. We're not sure of the full extent for Joshua if he is out for the short or long term.
"Ryan felt some tightness after the win against Everton, he wasn't comfortable being involved today (against Brighton), so there was no point risking a really serious injury.
"He has had problems historically with his hamstrings."
