Cape Town - Manchester
United midfielder Ander Herrera has described Zlatan Ibrahimovic as a
'genius' after the massive impact he has made at the club.
Ibrahimovic has scored 26 goals and provided eight assists in his 41 appearances since joining United as a free agent from Paris Saint-Germain.
Most recently, the 35-year-old striker scored two goals against FC Rostov to lead the Red Devils to the Europa League quarter-finals.
Herrera told Marca: "He is a genius. He can say that he will score 30 goals and that he is the best because he can get away with it. He is so good that he can do that."
But the Spaniard also added: "Ibrahimovic can be very annoying because he wants to win it all, even at football-tennis."
Meanwhile Ibrahimovic has revealed that he is still
motivated by the negative experience he had under Pep Guardiola while at
Barcelona.
The Swede spent one season with the Catalan side, in 2009/10, when Guardiola was in charge, and struggled to click with the Spanish tactician.
Ibrahimovic didn't feel like he was appreciated by Guardiola during that time, and has admitted that he still enjoys proving the current Manchester City manager wrong.
