Cape Town - Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann has expressed a desire to one day play alongside compatriot Paul Pogba for club as well as country.
The France duo are currently on international duty and they appear to have a fantastic camaraderie after being pictured together several times on social media of late.
A photograph posted on Twitter on Tuesday showed them sitting on the back of a golf cart, captioned: "End of the day, we go back to the castle."
Reports that Manchester United are interested in signing Griezmann have gathered pace recently, and the fact that Pogba is at Old Trafford - having returned to his former club from Juventus during the off-season - could count in their favour.
The Real Sociedad youth product admits he often talks to his Les Bleus team-mate about life at United and would like to forge a partnership at club level too in the future.
"I always ask Paul Pogba about Manchester United," Griezmann told Sky Sports News in Germany ahead of his team's World Cup qualifier against Sweden on Friday.
"I think they are a huge club with a really good infrastructure. I ask Paul about some of the players, and if they're really that good, or if Jose Mourinho is really that good.
"You hear a lot of things (speculation) about Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain but right now I don't see me moving to a new club. But it would be awesome to play alongside Paul one day."
