Cape Town - Watford manager Javi Gracia has praised the performances of Roberto Pereyra after scoring his third goal of the season to lead the Hornets to their third win.
The 27-year-old midfielder scored a brace in Watford's win over Brighton in the opening game of the season and took his tally to three by scoring in the club's 2-1 victory against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Gracia has been impressed by the former Juventus player's finishing and more importantly his work rate and attitude.
"He is an important player for us. I think in this moment he feels confident and he finishes his chances to score very well," Gracia told the press.
"He is working with a good balance with the rest of the team. He's showing a good attitude when we lose the ball, pressing high.
"Most important at the moment is the attitude of the team, but everybody knows he is playing well."
Watford are level on points with Liverpool, Tottenham, and Chelsea with nine points after the first three games of the campaign.
The Hornets welcome Spurs to Vicarage Road on Sunday before a two week international break.
Kick-off is at 17:00 (SA time).
