Fernando Llorente 'very satisfied' at Spurs

Cape Town - Tottenham Hotspur striker Fernando Llorente insists he never considered leaving the club and he is happy despite the competition for places.

The former Spain international has spent most of his time at the club behind Harry Kane in the pecking order.

Heung-Min Son has also been ahead of him in the attacking ranks but Llorente was given his chance in January.

Kane's ankle injury allowed Llorente to come into the first team and he revealed he never spoke to Fenerbahce or former club Athletic Bilbao.

Llorente, who scored during the 3-0 win over Borussia Dortmund, says he is happy in north London despite the speculation.

He told reporters: "I don't know anything.

"The truth is I'm very satisfied here in Spurs, I haven't thought about leaving.

"I'm at a great club, I still have a contract, and my intention is to win trophies here.

"Right now, I'm enjoying a good moment, and I hope I can keep scoring goals and everything keeps going well."
