Fan suffers hernia celebrating Gunners goal

Cape Town - An Arsenal supporter reportedly suffered a hernia as a result of his celebration of Danny Welbeck's winner over Leicester City on Sunday.

The Gunners came back from a goal down against the Premier League log-leaders to win 2-1, and the Independent reports that Scott Woods celebrated the moment so hard that he gave himself a hernia.

According to the website, Woods felt a pain in his stomach after the match and decided to go to hospital.

It was revealed that he had suffered a hernia, and that he would need surgery to repair the damage.

Arsenal's victory means that they are now just two points behind Leicester at the summit of the Premier League table.

Arsene Wenger's men have not won the league title since the 2003/04 season.

Imagine the celebrations that will follow if they get it right this season ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
