Fabinho denies wanting to leave Liverpool for PSG

Cape Town - Liverpool midfielder Fabinho insists he has absolutely no interest in signing for Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain after a slow start to his career with the Reds.

Fabinho has made just six league appearances since arriving from Monaco for £39 million pounds ahead of the 2018/19 campaign from Monaco.

However, he did feature and performed very well in last Sunday's 1-0 victory over Everton in what was just his fourth league start for the Premier League giants.

Nonetheless, reports have claimed that PSG are monitoring his situation with interest and were planning to bring him back to the French top flight either in January or at the end of the current campaign.

Nonetheless, the Brazil international has categorically denied the claims and says he is completely committed to the cause on Merseyside.

Speaking to UOL Esporte, he said: "I was told that there was something in the media.

"But, I have never said that I wanted to leave Liverpool. I was aware that I would need to have patience and wait for my moment.

"I am happy at Liverpool, I don't have a single reason to leave."
