FA fines West Ham duo

Cape Town - West Ham boss Slaven Bilic and his assistant, Nikola Jurcevic, have been fined £8,000 apiece after admitting Football Association misconduct charges.

The charges stem from incidents during the Hammers' 2-2 draw with West Brom at the London Stadium on Saturday, where Bilic revealed his frustration with numerous refereeing decisions after the match.

The Croatian was sent to the stands by match official Michael Oliver for throwing a TV microphone to the ground as he vented his anger at Gareth McAuley's stoppage-time equaliser for the Baggies.

Jurcevic, meanwhile, had remonstrated a disallowed goal for offside earlier in the game, with both men subsequently charged by English football's governing body.

The east London club confirmed in a statement that both coaches had accepted their respective charges, which resulted in fines.

The statement added: "The manager and assistant manager will both be available to sit on the bench for the Premier League visit to Watford on 25 February."
