Paris - English
Premier League sides will be on high alert after Paris Saint-Germain
head coach Unai Emery declared forward Jese Rodriguez is available for
transfer.
The arrival of Germany international forward Julian Draxler has pushed the former Real Madrid man down the pecking order at the Parc de Princess, only six months after his highly publicised arrival from the Spanish Primera Division.
It seems likely that the £34million transfer for the Wolsfburg player signifies the end to his short-lived stay, which promised to be a match made in heaven at the start of the new campaign.
However, the news will come as a timely boost for English club's Liverpool and Everton, with the Reds in particular needing attacking reinforcements as Sadio Mane leaves Merseyside to join Senegal for their Africa Cup of Nations campaign.
"I spoke with [Jese] and he needs to recover his rhythm and confidence, play minutes and get opportunities," he told Spanish newspaper AS. "The possibility of Jese leaving is a reality."
Since joining Les Parisiens for €25m in the off season, the 23-year-old has scored two goals in 14 appearances.
