Cape Town - Sunderland striker Jermain Defoe insists he hasn't made a
decision regarding where he will play next season, and is focused on his
England games.
Defoe has been linked with a move to Bournemouth after Sunderland were relegated from the Premier League this season, but he hasn't made a decision yet.
The 34-year-old has been called up to Gareth Southgate's England squad for the upcoming fixtures with France and Scotland, and he is focusing on those games first.
He told Sky Sports: “There’s been a lot of speculation saying I’m going to this club and that club - particularly Bournemouth.
“But at the moment I’m just trying to keep my head down and focus on England with two games coming up.
“With two games coming up, just to be around the team I’m trying to enjoy it. Like I tweeted the other day, there’s no better feeling.
“So I suppose I just need to keep my head down, get England out of the way, then sit down with my family and decide what I really want to do. We’ll see what happens. ”
