Cape Town - Everton skipper Seamus Coleman says the target this season is to finish in seventh spot and the Europa League places.
First-half goals from Kurt Zouma and Bernard ensured Everton picked up a win at the London stadium on Saturday.
Zouma headed the Toffees ahead from a corner in the fifth minute and Brazilian winger Bernard tapped in his first Premier League goal thanks to more poor defending just after the half-hour mark.
Everton climbed to ninth with their second win in succession.
Everton skipper Seamus Coleman told the club's website: "We want to finish strongly and keep aiming for that seventh place.
"We now want to keep building. We want to be focused and need to keep going like this."
