London - Newly-appointed
Swansea coach Paul Clement admits he has been monitoring the progress
of PSV Eindhoven winger Luciano Narsingh with keen interest.
The former Bayern Munich assistant coach reveals that he has been tracking the 26-year-old, who netted in the 4-1 loss to the Bavarian giants in the Champions League in October last year.
"He is a player we are aware of but no decisions have been made on ins or outs," he told Sky Sports News HQ.
"When we played against him with Bayern, he scored in the game in Holland.
"We are aware of his talent but nothing more than that at the moment."
The 44-year-old mentor acknowledged the importance of being active in the transfer window in a bid to bolster the squad, but insists that he will analyse the talent at his disposal before making any decisions.
"I'm very conscious that the window is open and it shuts at the end of this month, so if we want to do anything we need to start making moves," Clement added.
"But it's only fair of me to, first of all, assess the talent that we have got available and make a quick decision on where we need to strengthen and how we can improve this team."
The Welsh outfit languish second from bottom in the Premier League table, with just 15 points amassed from a possible 60.
The Swans next travel to the Kingston Communications Stadium to face fellow Premiership strugglers Hull City in a third-round FA Cup tie on Saturday.
Kick off is at 17:00.
