London - Giorgio Chiellini said that former Juventus player Paul Pogba was like NBA champion LeBron James and sprint star Usain Bolt as Chiellini lamented his side's loss at the weekend.

"We're not used to losing and, in addition to this, we've lost a player like Pogba, who was the LeBron James of football and, even when you didn't notice him, he was impressive," Chiellini told Sky Sport Italia after their 2-1 loss to Serie A rivals ACF Fiorentina on Sunday.

"Pogba was our Usain Bolt. He allowed us to play in a certain way. Now we've changed. We're working on it and [Juventus manager Massimiliano] Allegri is not an idiot."

Pogba played at the Turin-based side for four years and won four Scudettos before returning to Manchester United at the start of this season.

"We've changed players and now we are a side like any other," Chiellini said.

Defending champions Juve are at the top of the Serie A table, on point ahead of AS Roma with a game in hand.
