Cape Town - Swansea
City midfielder Leon Britton insists the players have a strong belief
in themselves as they prepare for a tough Premier League tie at
Manchester United.
The Swans will travel to Old Trafford to get their Premier League campaign back underway on Saturday, after the recent international break, and Britton is hoping they can pull off a big upset.
"We all know it’s tough going up there and they are particularly strong at home at the moment," Britton told the club's official website.
"But we have beaten Liverpool and Arsenal recently and also when we played Tottenham in the league we were unlucky, with one goal which was offside and the second one coming right at the end.
"We have had some big results against the top teams over the years and since the manager came in we have picked up some great wins, so that gives us belief for this weekend."
Swansea are 14th in the Premier League standings, but have only a three-point lead over 18th-placed Southampton. They are unbeaten in their last two league outings.
