He also has 13 international caps for the Republic of Ireland.

Camarasa, 24, is a former Spain under 21 international and moves from Real Betis, having also played for Levante.

A club statement read: "Cardiff City are pleased to confirm that Harry Arter has completed a loan switch to the Bluebirds.

"Camarasa came through Valencia’s academy, before joining Levante UD in 2012. He made his first team debut in December 2013.

"He spent the 2016-17 season on loan at Alaves in the top flight, and then signed for Real Betis in June 2017.
