Cape Town - Cardiff City have announced the loan signings of Harry Arter and Victor Camarasa on transfer deadline day.
Arter, 28, joins the club from Bournemouth, having also played for Charlton Athletic and Woking, while also spending time on loan with Staines, Welling and Carlisle.
He also has 13 international caps for the Republic of Ireland.
Camarasa, 24, is a former Spain under 21 international and moves from Real Betis, having also played for Levante.
A club statement read: "Cardiff City are pleased to confirm that Harry Arter has completed a loan switch to the Bluebirds.
"Arter makes the season-long loan move to the Welsh capital from AFC Bournemouth, and will be ineligible to face his parent club on opening day.
"The twenty-eight-year-old helped the Cherries rise from League One to the Premier League, and has made 69 appearances in the top-flight over the last three seasons.
"The midfielder has earned thirteen caps for the Republic of Ireland, having made his debut for the national team in June 2015."
A second statement read: "Cardiff City are pleased to announce the deadline day loan signing of Victor Camarasa from Real Betis.
"The twenty-four-year-old central midfielder, joins on a season-long loan for the 2018/19 campaign.
"Camarasa came through Valencia’s academy, before joining Levante UD in 2012. He made his first team debut in December 2013.
"He spent the 2016-17 season on loan at Alaves in the top flight, and then signed for Real Betis in June 2017.
"Víctor made twenty-four La Liga appearances for Los Verdiblancos last season, as they secured a sixth-place finish in the Spanish top flight.
"Welcome to the Welsh capital, Victor!"
