Borussia Dortmund have reportedly joined the race to sign Manchester United transfer target Jude Bellingham.
The Red Devils were previously believed to be leading the way for the 16-year-old Birmingham midfield sensation, but Dortmund are growing increasingly confident that they will win the race for the talented youngster.
The Bundesliga giants previously pipped United to the signing of Erling Braut Haaland, after it was claimed that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men were in the driving seat to sign him the prolific frontman.
Dortmund paid the £18 million needed to trigger the Norwegian striker's release clause, and he opted to join them instead of head to the Premier League.
Now, it would appear that lightning is ready to strike twice, this time with Bellingham.
The Birmingham youngster is said to have been hugely impressed with the set-up in Germany, despite also being shown around United's training complex.
The snub will be a huge blow to Solskjaer's efforts to snap up the best young talent in the country, although United do remain the frontrunners to sign winger Jadon Sancho from Dortmund this summer.
Solskjaer is also looking to pair one of Jack Grealish or James Maddison with Bruno Fernandes in a revamped Red Devils midfield next season, although reports on Friday claimed that United were also in talks to sign Real Madrid flop James Rodriguez.
