Bayern linked with Spurs manager Pochettino

Cape Town - Bayern Munich are reportedly weighing up a move for Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino in the off-season.

The Bavarians have just wrapped up an eighth straight Bundesliga title, but that is not stopping suggestions they will part company with boss Niko Kovac and launch a bid to land Pochettino during the close season.

There could be something of a managerial merry-go-round in the summer, and reports claim that Bayern are confident of landing Pochettino, who has dropped one or two hints that his time in north London could be coming to an end.

If Tottenham can go on and win the Champions League Final against Liverpool, the Argentina tactician has suggested he could not take Spurs any further and could take up a fresh challenge elsewhere.

With the Real Madrid and Manchester United jobs out of the picture for now, Bayern could be an attractive proposition for Pochettino, should he consider moving on, while there is also a vacancy at Juventus after it was revealed Max Allegri is leaving.

Barcelona could also opt to make a change after another Champions League humiliation and again Pochettino's name would be thrown into the frame for the Nou Camp.

All in all, Spurs fans are braced for more speculation regarding their manager this summer no matter what happens in Madrid.
