Batshuayi not keen on England move

Cape Town - Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur target Michy Batshuayi has refuted claims that he wants to leave Ligue 1 for the English Premier League.

Marseille have largely underperformed this season as they languish in the wrong end of the table in 13th place, but their star striker has come out to state that his future lies at Stade Velodrome.

"My future is at Marseille," Batshuayi told L'Equipe.

"I want to stay, I love the stadium, the fans, lots of players in this squad. I am in love with this club.

"I would prefer to leave this club after leaving a trace on people’s minds, my story with Marseille is far from over."

The Belgian has been a bright light during L'OM's underwhelming campaign, scoring 16 goals in 36 league outings.
