Cape Town - Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang claims Thursday night's Europa league clash against Liverpool will show former boss Jurgen Klopp how much Borrusia Dortmund have improved since his departure.
Aubameyang has enjoyed a prolific season, scoring 36 goals across all competitions, and the Gabon international feels he owes a lot to the Liverpool boss.
However, the Gabon international insists the German tactician won't receive any favours upon his return to Signal Iduna Park.
"It is great for us to have this game," he said in the pre-match interview.
"We can show Klopp we have worked hard to get back to where we were and that we have progression.
"It will be a very difficult game, for sure, but we want to show Klopp that we are working very hard.
"I owe him a lot. It was great to work with him and he taught me many things. If I play like this as a striker now, it is because of him."
