Atleti identify Griezmann replacement

Cape Town - Atletico Madrid are reported to be lining up a move for Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette to replace the departing Antoine Griezmann.

Griezmann has revealed he will be leaving Atleti this summer, with Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain said to be chasing his signature, and the search is now on for his replacement.

Reports in the press claim that Atleti have made France international Lacazette their top target and have already got the wheels in motion with regards to making an approach.

Arsenal will be keen to keep hold of the striker, who has fired home 13 goals this season, and has also found himself the subject of speculation linking him with Barcelona.

As well as Lacazette, Atleti are also said to be keen on PSG striker Edinson Cavani.
