Cape Town - Arsenal and Manchester United have received a major boost over transfer target Vincent Janssen, with the striker's agent admitting he could be open to leaving AZ Alkmaar.
The robust striker scored 27 goals in his debut season in the Eredivise to win the Golden Boot and opened his international account on his debut against the England in April.
Gunners and United have been strongly linked with the 21-year-old since the turn of the year, and all interested clubs will be on red alert following his agent, Patrick van Diemen's comments about a potential move.
"Provided it's a good club," Van Diemen told The Express. "Vincent has had a brilliant season, has made his debut in the Dutch National Team.
"It's made him hungry for more. AZ is fantastic, but if you have the opportunity to take the next step, then that's what you should do as a sportsman.
"AZ may ask what it wants for Janssen, because he is fixed for three years and his contract contains no predetermined release clause."
