Arsenal after Brighton's Dunk

Cape Town - Brighton & Hove Albion defender Lewis Dunk is in demand after Arsenal joined Leicester City in the race to sign him.

The Foxes have lined up Dunk as a possible replacement for Harry Maguire, who could be on the move this summer, with a host of clubs, including Manchester United, tracking his signature.

However, the Gunners are also in the hunt for a new central defender and are ready to rival Leicester for Dunk’s services, if the latest reports are to be believed.

Brighton are ready to let Dunk move on after bringing in Portsmouth’s Matt Clarke as a replacement and will now be aiming to bring in as much cash as possible.

The Seagulls will be hoping a bidding war begins between the two clubs as they look to move Dunk on and will be looking for at least £30 million.

That could stretch the Gunners, who have a limited amount of cash to spend this summer, and Leicester are still said to be in the box seat to do a deal.
