Cape Town - Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso has dismissed reports linking him with a move away from Stamford Bridge in the off-season, insisting he's "very happy" at the club.
The 28-year-old is understood to be a target for Spanish duo Barcelona and Atletico Madrid this summer after falling out of favour in the latter stages of 2018/19.
Despite losing his starting berth to Emerson, the former Sunderland and Fiorentina full-back still made 31 Premier League appearances and is likely to be a big part of Frank Lampard's plans during the upcoming campaign.
Alonso, who signed a new long-term contract last season, says he intends to see out that contract and insists he is "very happy" in west London.
"I signed a new contract last year and I'm very happy here," Alonso said. "I don't know if there's been any contact, you will have to speak to Marina [Granovskaia] about that."
Alonso added: "I have four more years here and I'm very happy.
"The last three years have been amazing and I want more of that. I want to keep playing and winning things."
