Cape Town - Loris Karius' agent has vehemently denied speculation that Besiktas want to terminate the Liverpool goalkeeper's loan prematurely.
The German joined the Turkish giants on a two-year loan deal in August after the Reds signed Brazil international Alisson from Roma for a then-world record fee.
Karius' future at Anfield had been brought into question ever since his two high-profile errors against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League final in May.
The 25-year-old has made a shaky start to his Black Eagles career, with reports in Turkey suggesting the Istanbul outfit are considering sending him back to Merseyside much earlier than anticipated.
However, Karius' representative, Florian Goll, scoffed at the notion, telling SID: "Complete nonsense. I wonder where such things come from. This news is absolutely untrue.
"Loris is on loan to Besiktas for two years - that's the situation. The club has no intention of ending this loan contract prematurely.
"It's fact that Loris is the clear number one at Besiktas, he played every game and showed good performances."
