Cape Town - Arda
Turan's agent has poured cold water on suggestions that Arsenal had
been in contact over a potential transfer for the Barcelona midfielder.
The Turkey international is enjoying a fine second season with the Catalan giants, having scored 13 goals in 29 appearances across all competitions.
Turan has been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium after the Times reported on Thursday that the Gunners are looking to replace Mesut Ozil, whose future is uncertain.
But the 30-year-old's representative, Ahmet Bulut, insists he has heard nothing from the north London club.
"There is currently no offer, there is nothing to speak of right now," Bulut told ESPN FC. "I have not been contacted by Arsenal.
"As I said before, he is happy at Barcelona and has three years left on his contract."
Meanwhile Arsenal will wait until the end of the season to try tie up new deals for star duo Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.
Both players have 15 months left on their current contracts, which means that they can soon start actively looking for employment elsewhere should their wage demands not be met.
"At the moment we have not got an agreement," Wenger said when asked about contract talks with Sanchez.
