Aaron Ramsey agrees to join Juventus from Arsenal

Cape Town - Sources in the UK are reporting that Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey will join Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus in the off-season.

Ramsey was always set to leave the Gunners on a free transfer when his contract expired at the end of the season.

Juventus was believed to be his preferred choice, and it seems the 28-year-old has gotten his wish.

Sky Sports reports that Ramsey will undergo a medical with Juventus on Sunday, with a deal expected to be finalised next week.

Ramsey has been able to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with any club outside England since the beginning of the year, after failing to agree a new deal at the Emirates.

Ramsey joined Arsenal from Cardiff in 2008, scoring 52 goals in 252 Premier League games.

The highlights from his time with Arsenal include three FA Cup wins, with Ramsey scoring the winning goals in the finals against Hull (2014) and Chelsea (2017).
