Cape Town - Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger may look to leave
the Emirates once his contract with the London club comes to an end at the end
of next season.
According to the Daily Express, Wenger is considering a move back to French side Monaco after his successful spell there earlier in his career. The Ligue 1 side have reportedly offered Wenger a deal worth £28million and want him to take over from Leonardo Jardim next summer.
The Gunners are believed to be making plans of their own in an effort to replace the Frenchman if in fact he does decide to leave, and current Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti is said to be their number one target.
Ancelotti's Real deal expires in 2016, and Spanish media outlets claim that he will be shown the door this summer if he fails to deliver at least one major honour during the current campaign.
The Italian is open to managing in the Premier League again should he leave the Santiago Bernabeu, recently telling The Sun: "I loved England; I was very happy at Chelsea. I liked the atmosphere, the supporters. I have the best memories.
"I'd like to return. It depends how long this adventure lasts. If it lasts a long time I will retire after it. But if it doesn't then I will come to England. For sure.
"The day I leave Madrid there are two solutions. Either I quit football or I come back to England."
