Wenger keen on Rabiot

Cape Town - Arsene Wenger has set his sights on bringing PSG's talented young Frenchman Adrien Rabiot to the London club.

Adrien Rabiot, a midfielder with PSG, is close to sealing a switch to Arsenal reports the Daily Star.

Rabiot has impressed Wenger, who is keen to sign the player who has been linked with Manchester United and Chelsea.

With PSG looking to increase their own transfer funds, Wenger has sounded out PSG over a £8 million deal for the teenage midfielder.

Rabiot is in a precarious position with PSG after failing to agree a new deal, the club have reportedly withdrawn from further contract talks with the 19-year-old.

Capped at every age group level for France, Rabiot made 25 appearances in Ligue 1 last season.

Rabiot spent part of his youth training with Manchester City before securing a professional deal with PSG.
