Cape Town - Arsenal scouts were in the stands during the Super Cup clash between Barcelona and Sevilla to watch Grzegorz Krychowiak.
The Telegraph report that Arsenal target Grzegorz Krychowiak has a buyout clause of £22 million.
Arsenal are credited with an 18 month interest in the Polish international, who started the Super Cup final for Sevilla.
Krychowiak would provide competition for last season's surprise star in central midfield Francis Coquelin.
The 25-year-old Sevilla midfielder is reportedly open to a move to the Premier League and would become Arsene Wenger's biggest summer signing.
The Gunners have just three fixtures remaining before the transfer window closes on September 1. Arsenal must travel to play Crystal Palace and Newcastle United and face Liverpool at home.
